Dicitencello vuje   Lyrics

The singers is addressing to a friend of his beloved, imploring him/her to tell her how much he's suffering from love pains. He loves her so much that he can't sleep or think anymore. This passion is so deep that his soul is enchained and he can't help thinking about her all day long. The singer would like to tell her all these things himself, but he can't. Finally he sees tears on her cheeks so he implores her to let themselves be carried by their feelings: he loves her so much that he needs her like the air he breaths. The final line is really moving. It can be translated like this: 'I want you in order to live'.
